The World Dances Festival returns to celebrate its 44th edition, from July 16 to 27.
This event, now a cornerstone of the region's cultural scene, once again promises to transform the area into a global stage of cultures, dances, music, and traditions from all corners of the world.
Shows where all participating groups come together to present their dances, music, and traditions in a vibrant celebration of cultures. These galas will take place in: Santa Maria da Feira (opening), São Miguel do Souto, Espinho, Canedo, Santo Tirso, Romariz, and Argoncilhe (closing).
A moment dedicated exclusively to Portuguese groups, showcasing music and dance performances that represent their regions. Takes place on July 26 in Argoncilhe.
Focusing on the musicians of the groups, this show also invites the audience to join in, creating a relaxed atmosphere that brings together sound and movement. Scheduled for July 23 in Santa Maria da Feira.
For the first time, the festival will feature a Traditional Costume Parade, where groups will showcase their traditional attire and share the cultural history and meaning behind each outfit. This event will take place on July 24 in Caldas de S. Jorge.

All shows begin at 9:30 PM, except the Gala in Canedo, which starts at 8:30 PM.

In this edition, we have the honor of welcoming cultural representations from 8 countries, with a total of 11 groups, who will share the rhythms, colors, and stories of their traditions across the various stages of the festival.
